Overview

I worked across LIV Golf’s web, app, and tablet experiences, improving how fans followed an event.

The examples below focus on leaderboards and statistics. One adapted an existing product to LIV’s round format and mobile screens. The other gave a new body of data its first structure and navigation.

Leaderboards

LIV events use a shotgun start, so every group is on the course at once. I updated the leaderboard to represent that format more clearly, then adapted the same hierarchy for mobile. Position, player, and score stay easy to scan while supporting details condense as the screen narrows.

Leaderboards

The constraint

The desktop table had room for round progress and supporting statistics. Mobile needed the same reading order without shrinking the full table into a narrow screen.

The call

I treated position, player, and score as the fixed spine of the leaderboard. As space tightens, supporting columns leave before that spine changes, trading some at-a-glance detail for a stable scan across devices.

What shipped

Updated leaderboards across web, app, and tablet.

The mobile leaderboard keeps the round hierarchy intact while fans move through player and team standings.

Statistics

Statistics was new to the product. I created its table of contents and organized the data into a structure that moved from overview to player detail. Fans had a clear starting point, and new categories could be added without changing how the page worked.

Statistics

The constraint

There was no existing statistics section to inherit. The open question was where fans should enter a broad set of categories and how the overview should lead into player detail.

The call

I made the table of contents the main wayfinding layer, then carried each path from overview into rankings and player detail. The landing page holds more navigation, but every new category has a predictable place.

Across the fan experience

The work shown here focuses on leaderboards and statistics, but my role at LIV extended beyond those two examples. I also updated event pages and worked on the Stories experience, including a custom scrim that kept text and controls readable over photography and video. Those projects are not shown here.

Together, these projects made the role broader than a single feature. I was improving how fans followed LIV across web, app, and tablet.
